ROLE MODELS

Puspanjali Sahu

I Puspanjali Sahu have completed my diploma in civil engineering in 2023 from govt polytechnic Koraput. I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional education I received at Government Polytechnic Koraput. The college's dedication to academic excellence, combined with its supportive faculty and well-equipped facilities, truly set the foundation for my success. Achieving an impressive OJEE rank of 53 opened the doors for me to continue my education at VSSUT Burla. The seamless transition from my polytechnic studies to VSSUT is a testament to the solid preparation I received at Govt. Polytechnic Koraput. I am proud to be an alumnus of such a distinguished institution.
Some tips that i would like to give my juniors:
Ask Questions: Don't hesitate to ask questions when you're unsure about something. It's a valuable way to learn and improve. Time Management: Learn to manage your time effectively to balance academics, extracurricular activities, and personal life.

Abhaya kumar Behera

I, Abhaya kumar behera, joined Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Government Polytechnic, Koraput after the completion of my matriculation in the year 2020. My teachers always inspired me to work hard and be disciplined. by the efforts made by the teachers and placement cell. I was able to get a job in “KALPATARU POWER TRANSMISSION LIMITED” as DET with a package of 2.75 lakhs per annum. They always provided me with the assistance that I required for my overall development and to improve my technical knowledge.

Santosh Mohanty

I Santosh Mohanty have completed my Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 2023 from Govt. Polytechnic Koraput. It was my immense luck and fortune to be part of the Govt. Polytechnic Koraput, Odisha, where I have nurtured my interest in Electrical Engineering. The entire faculty and department leave no stone unturned to shape my future. My three years have been a wonderful experience of learning with academic exposure and practical skills. I have great respect, love, and devotion for the entire faculty members and department. Due to their efforts which make me count I feel fortunate to join TPWODL (Tata Power West Odisha Distribution Limited) with a package of Rs 2.8 LPA. A small advice to my juniors and candidate who opt to do diploma is that a diploma course in a particular field will give a candidate immense knowledge and also helps a person to improve his/her several skills that are required in this competitive world. It helps people to enhance their curriculum vitae and to gain a stable reputation in India as people are earning a good amount of money from doing diploma courses. A diploma might be useful if we want to make a job move in a short period and the profession we want to pursue. After completing diploma with good grades and practical knowledge a candidate can is eligible to grade B Govt. jobs (SSC JE, RRB JE,etc) or PSUs like ONGC,BHEL,NTPC,etc or private jobs like Tata,Reliance,L&T,etc . So this is only possible if the candidate don’t take lightly to the importance of diploma in any stream and starts pursuing diploma without negligence in learning in both theory as well as practical.
